Bio

Susan Pierce Grossman of South Setauket, Long Island, has been a public school art teacher for 26 years. Graced with supportive parents, teachers, husband, daughters and friends, she has pursued her passion for art from coloring books and Jon Gnagy to a BFA from NYIT, an MS in Art Education and an SDA Degree from Dowling College.

She works in watercolor, oil, pastel and acrylic to create "visual meditations" of flower portraits, landscapes, seascapes and portraits. A life long interest in gardening, photography and boating inspire her subject matter. Standing on Monet's bridge in Giverny was a dream come true. Her art work is also found in many private collections.

As an author and illustrator, her whimsical photos of granddaughter, Meredith, can be seen in the recently published book 'Grandma's Stardust', now available to buy online.
